Prefers consistently moist, well-drained, nutrient rich soils. Young peppers emerge green, and turn an eye-catching display of orange, purple, and red. These peppers are considered ornamental but are edible, although not typically grown for their flavor which lacks intense heat. Great as an edging in a bed or in containers. Plants bear fruit until frost.
