Multi-stemmed evergreen with a upright spreading habit. The evergreen grows bright yellow new growth in Spring with bright red cones that turns to a green after two months and stays a green hue through the Summer and Winter months with shaggy red bark. High maintenance tree when pruning trim back only the new growth of the season or any dieback. Ideal as an accent, container, or patio plant. A native North American specimen.
