Light Needs: Part shade to full shade
A herbaceous perennial with ornamental foliage and a showy pale lavender flower that blooms July to August and makes a good cut flower that attracts hummingbirds. Established plants have some tolerance for dry shade, but soils should never be allowed to dry out. Full size and quality form are best achieved with consistent moisture. Very effective in groups or massed. Shady borders, shade gardens or woodland gardens.
