Light Needs: Full Sun to Shade
A herbaceous perennial ground cover tolerant of a wide range of soil types but prefers dry to medium well-drained. Quickly covers large areas and will continuously display mounded, attractive foliage. Should be grown in self-contained areas otherwise it can become quite aggressive in the garden. To retain the variegated form, remove any plants that revert back to green. If foliage declines in summer, plantings may be sheared by mowing on a high setting to remove the unsightly leaves and to stimulate new foliage growth. Can be quite effective when grown in the shade of trees or large shrubs.
