A bold colored annual with a crested, twisted top that blooms Summer to Fall. Prefers rich, moist, and well-drained soils. Requires little maintenance, except a fertilization once or twice a month with a liquid fertilizer. No deadheading is necessary. Don't be too rough with the plant, they are succulent stems and are prone to breakage. Tolerates light shade. Ideal massed, in containers, or makes a great cut and dried flower.
