A dense, rounded growth habit with purple showy flowers that blooms from Mid-Spring to Early Fall. Prefers moist, well-drained soil. Annuals planted in containers should be watered by soaking the soil well and not watered again until the surface is dry about 1/2" down. This is on average every 2-3 days. Planted in the ground, annuals will need frequent watering when first planted but soon establish themselves. Fertilize every 2-3 weeks with a liquid fertilizer. Ideal in mass plantings, border edging, bedding, containers, and hanging baskets. In mass planting, plant every 10" apart.
