Blooms Spring to First frost of bright, purple-pink flowers with a mounded, compact habit. Grows vigorously with prolific flowers and a uniform growth habit and fills in quickly. Is one of the most dependable and easy to grow annuals for the shade. Pinch back as needed if plants become leggy or overgrown, trimming back dead blossoms encourages new blooms. Prefers moist, well-drained soil but avoid prolonged wet conditions that can lead to rot. Can attract hummingbirds. Ideal in mass plantings, garden beds, borders, baskets, and containers.
