First Impatiens developed to thrive in full sun. Full shade should be avoided. Plants are generally larger, bushier with longer spring to frost bloom periods than the traditional New Guinea impatiens. A very popular bedding plant with non-stop white flowering from May to October. Mass in groups in bed, borders, or edging along walkways. Also in containers, window boxes and hanging baskets. Can also make a great Houseplant.
