An herbaceous perennial with a compact form of foliage, with long tall spikes marked with yellow, daisy-like flowers in mid-Summer. Prefers wet and evenly moist and fertile soil. Prune old flower heads to encourage more blossoms. Feed with a general purpose fertilizer before new growth begins in spring. Ideal in a border, container, cutting garden, Cottage, very wet areas, and Woodlands garden.
