Perennial groundcover that blooms mid-spring to mid-summer and prefers moist soil, fills in quickly to create a dense mat. Can tolerate deer and light foot traffic, and the occasional light mowing. Can be divided in spring and good for overplanting Lilies and bulbs. Considered semi- evergreen. Mulch well in the winter months. Great in rock gardens and borders.
