Multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with a rounded compact form and a vigorous, easy growth habit. Contains an abundance of highly fragrant white double flowers that bloom late Spring to early Summer. The flowers attract butterflies, bees, and birds. Very adaptable and easy to grow and best used in conjuncture with other plants that will bloom once its blooms are through. Should only be pruned after flowering to avoid removing any of the current season's flowers. Nicely used in mass planting and as hedgings. Prefers average to moist soil conditions.
