An herbaceous perennial and a North American native with a long bloom season of fragrant hot pink clusters of flowers with touches of white that last through the Summer months. Thrives in enriched, moist, well-drained loamy or sandy soil. Avoid overhead watering. Remove spent blooms to prolong flowering. Hard prune to the ground at season's end. Feed in early spring. Ideal in a border, container, Rock garden, Urban garden, or Cutting garden.
