An herbaceous perennial with long arching stems of green trimmed with white foliage. Produces white, sweetly fragrant droplet flowers in April-May, followed by blue-black berries in the Fall. Easily grown in moist, humusy, organically rich, well-drained soils but can be drought tolerant once established. Slowly spreads by thin rhizomes to form colonies in optimum growing conditions. Ideal in the Woodland garden, border, Rock Garden, and the foliage makes a great flower arrangement addition.
