Evergreen perennial cactus/succulent with striped green and creamy yellow sword-like leaves that are topped by tall, showy spikes of fragrant, ivory white blooms in spring. Forms dramatic clumps with age. Use to create contrasting textures as a garden accent or container plant. Ideal in border, coastal exposure, container, firescaping, mass planting, and poolside. Tolerates road salt. Water deeply at regular intervals during first growing season, reduce once established. Feed with a fertilizer in the Spring and cut back spent flowers.
